“I feel like I don't fit in. I always felt like I was a social outcast. When I was in elementary school, the other kids always told me I was weird…”

“I feel lonely because most of my friendships are one-sided, where I can never talk about my own problems. Very often I know what people are about to say, and they get irritated with me because I finish their sentences.”

These are some of the statements often heard from people whose reincarnated souls have an origin, either in their last life or, more frequently, from other planes of existence, such as the angelic realms, elemental realms (nature angels), or interplanetary realms, etc.

Usually—but not always—working as lightworkers or healers, these people tend to feel more sensitive, isolated, or somewhat different in their environment, and feel called to help others or simply to be particularly helpful and especially kind to others. They do not always know or start their paths or careers in the spiritual field. Sometimes they are working within the service realm in jobs like nurses, teachers, or counselors, without knowing about their origins, path, and inner motivations.

Reports of incarnated angels date back at least to the time of the Apostle Paul, who wrote to the Hebrews: “Do not forget to show hospitality, for by doing so some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it” (Doreen Virtue).

Under the denomination of “Earth Angels,” there are different types based on their origins, although all are categorized or called the same way. Some of these groups are: incarnated angels, “starseeds”, the wise ones, elemental realm souls or commonly known as nature angels, such as fairies and mermaids, yes, fairies! These latter ones may be more difficult to accept for most of us, due to the fear linked to social conditioning and the education received. However, I still remember hearing from the mouths of very young children, who had not received any education on the matter, statements like: “Fairies are the nature angels, the protective spirits of nature.”

Even when you haven't had a direct experience with them, as most haven't, and unlike some highly attuned mediums who were chosen to connect with them at some point in their lives, you can't help but wonder, thinking of the popular saying that goes... “where there's smoke, there's fire.” It always reminds me of the difference between legend, myth, and history, which are intertwined and not always with a clear line separating them.

What are some of the characteristics that help identify some of the people whose soul origins are among these groups?

Earth angels sometimes:

• Have sweet faces, angelic appearances that radiate innocence and love. They seem to shine with their own light and often lighten their hair or get highlights. People frequently describe them as having a certain inner light, or something that glows.
• Have longer relationships than the average person. They tend to fall in love with the person's soul and feel driven to inspire and guide them towards GREATNESS. They are not only faithful lovers but loyal friends.
• Usually have difficulty saying no, which becomes part of their own life lessons. Some face health challenges like chronic fatigue or fibromyalgia as a consequence of an imbalance between giving and receiving.
• Are professional helpers, such as nurses, counselors, instructors, and teachers.
• Tend to look younger than their chronological age and often, especially in the case of Starseeds, women feel more comfortable and pair better with younger partners or husbands, forming very satisfying and happy relationships.
• Need to live near large bodies of water to find their balance and stay away from depression. Starseeds feel that being near the ocean is truly A NECESSITY.
• The wise ones are very interested in history and the study of ancient times, especially those considered mythical, like everything related to Arthurian times. They may dress eccentrically or romantically, and many are history buffs.

• Their eyes are often large, beautiful, with an inner light, or almond-shaped, and they reflect a deep truth and wisdom that says more than words can express.

  These are just a few hints, but there are more and also subdivisions within which you might or might not feel identified. You might also fit into more than one category simultaneously if you are an 'evolving soul' or an 'experimenter'.
